A low-pressure system that brought pockets of rain to Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties was moving out of the region Sunday.

No reports of major flooding or mud slides were ultimately reported.
A gradual warmup is expected across Southern California in the coming days, with Wednesday forecast to be the hottest day of the week, according to the National Weather Service. The temperatures are expected to rise into the 70s on the coast, and into the 80s farther inland.High temperatures today will continue to be 5 to 10 degrees cooler than average for this time of year.
