Consider it a President’s Day gift: the weather will be unseasonably warm for the next few days.
The temperature will rise to almost 60 degrees today, with calm winds later rising to between 5 and 7 miles per hour in the afternoon.
Tuesday will be similar, though winds will pick up with gusts as high as 26 miles per hour. The weather will also bring rain with it, with as much as a half of an inch of precipitation possible. The rain will peter out headed into Wednesday, but the wind gusts will rise up to as high as 24 miles per hour.
And temperatures will drop to a more appropriate level by the end of the week, with highs on Thursday and Friday expected to reach around 37 and 43 degrees, respectively.Sunny, with a high near 59. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.Rain, mainly after 9am. High near 58. East wind 5 to 14 mph becoming south in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
