A ridge of high pressure continues to push into Utah as we head into Mother’s Day. This will result in above-normal temperatures Sunday, with lots of sunshine statewide.
The ridge continues to strengthen into the first part of the workweek, leading to record temperatures for three consecutive days — Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs will reach the low 90s during that stretch.
Normal temperatures this time of year are typically in the low 70s, making this period significantly warmer than average.
