There’s a slight chance of spotty showers to the north of DFW around mid-morning. Otherwise, dry weather is expected for the metroplex.The next chance for widespread showers and thunderstorms will be Friday late afternoon and evening. A cold front will sweep through North Texas with a chance of storms.
The cold front will be out of North Texas by early Saturday, so the weekend will be dry and comfortable with high temperatures in the low 80s and relatively low humidity.
