KOTA KINABALU: Parti Warisan Sabah is prepared to face a snap general election if the Perikatan Nasional government decides to use it to settle the political uncertainty facing the nation.

He said there was solid co-operation and good understanding between Warisan, Upko and Pakatan Harapan to ensure Pakatan Plus wins and continues to protect democracy and the dignity of Sabahans at the Federal level.

Siambun's statement on Saturday comes amid ongoing moves within Sabah by Perikatan parties allegedly engineering crossovers of elected assemblymen and parliamentarians. "Sabah is a partner in the Malaysian federation and has been accepted by Pakatan leaders from Peninsular Malaysia," he said, adding that it was reflected when the Pakatan government gave positions to Sabah MPs to join the federal Cabinet. He believed that the people were strongly behind Pakatan Plus as it advocated fair government policies that rejected racial and religious extremism while strongly acting against corruption.
