A shooting at a New Albany warehouse late Tuesday night resulted in one fatality and five injuries. Police have identified the suspect as Bruce Reginald Foster III. He is described as a 28-year-old employee of the KDC/One facility, a beauty product company. Foster is considered the only suspect in the targeted attack, and the handgun used was recovered at the scene.

Law enforcement is searching for a shooter after one person was killed and another five were wounded at a warehouse in New Albany late Tuesday night.

First responders went to the KDC/One facility, a beauty product company, in the area of the 8800 block of Smiths Mill Road North just before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. " did say that nobody here noticed any type of confrontation or anything that might have triggered this," Jones said during a news conference Wednesday morning.

"This appears at this point to be a targeted attack," he said, cautioning that the investigation was in its preliminary stages. He said police do not believe Foster is a threat to society.
