PETALING JAYA: The man wanted by police in connection with the fatal kidnapping of a Datuk Seri has been detained.
The suspect, nicknamed EL, was arrested in Bukit Sentosa, Kuala Kubu Baru, at about 7.30pm on Sunday .
"He was detained to assist ongoing investigations into the kidnapping and death of the 55-year-old victim.SAC Fadzil said the police are looking for N. Vikneswarar, nicknamed Thamby@Vinod with MyKad No 920716146331, to assist with investigations."We hope the public can assist us in tracking this man down," he added.
It was reported that a businessman with the title Datuk was among the seven men detained on Friday and Saturday in connection with the case.
