A suspect is on the run after shooting another man he found sleeping inside a car with a woman he previously dated, according to the Houston Police Department.
The shooting was reported around 8 a.m. Saturday in the 4900 block of Bliss Street, near southeast Houston.
Police said the shooting victim, 46, and the woman were sleeping inside his vehicle when he felt one of the tires going flat. After getting out of the car to check things out, he saw Quintanilla and the two got into an argument.The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
During the investigation, detectives learned that Quintanilla and the shooting victim had gotten into several arguments in previous days. Police said the woman had been in a previous dating relationship with Quintanilla.Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division at 713-308-8800 or speak anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
