David Cummins, 36, was arrested after he fled 'lawful custody'
A wanted man who escaped from lawful police custody has now been arrested. Serious and organised crime cops arrested David Cummins, 36, on Altrincham Road on Thursday evening .
An appeal was previously shared by Greater Manchester Police in relation to Cummins after he fled 'lawful custody' on Wednesday . In a new update, the force confirmed he was arrested. It follows an operation using specially trained officers the from Specialist Operations and Serious and Organised Crime branch within the force.A second male and a 37-year-old woman have also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, police also confirmed.
