We look forward to welcoming the next thirty Aldi Wine Club members on board.’

He added that Indie and Marley love to look after Leni. ‘They love carrying her and taking her into the other room and stuff. So I think they like being nurturing. ‘But the hardest part of it for me is this whole thing around gentle parenting, right? I was shouted at as a kid so much, doors were slammed. It was a very aggressive, not physically abusive, but verbally abusive and shouty house.

Savour: This tip is probably our favourite. ‘Now relax, savour those deep flavours that are developing in your mouth and enjoy!’CHAT: With other parents in our forumA new study has revealed that changing how we measure children’s health could achieve more accurate results. ‘NO – let’s stop weighing kids and teaching them to focus on weight loss’ Alison Perry has opted her three children out of the NCMP at primary school But it’s not. Yes, it’s one aspect, but there are lots of other indicators of health we can look at, to determine how healthy a child is. Joyful movement Importantly, a 2021 inquiry ordered by the House of Commons recommended an urgent review of the NCMP.
I think its fine to weigh them at school but I think it shouldn’t be a fat-shaming exercise. Instead, it should be done in the context of looking at body composition, like a mix of PE and Biology. I believe there shouldn’t be a fear surrounding weight and that educating children about it should be approached in a biological manner.
I think its important for children to understand their body composition and the school could help families with this. I do not agree with getting children lined up, weighing in front of each other and sending a letter telling parents to put children on a diet.Related content Meet Britain’s Coupon KidHouseholds who are behind with their bill payments can apply for a one-off cash boost worth £200 to help them with their arrears.

So, currently with the free hours only available to two-year-olds, you could have applied from when your child was 1 year and 36 weeks old, but this will change with the larger-scale September roll-out of childcare. A DfE spokesperson said: ‘Children become eligible for a free early education place at different points in the year, depending on when the child turns the relevant age.‘Parents are only able to claim the entitlements from the term after because this gives local authorities enough time to prepare and offer adequate early years places for parents every term, since they can anticipate when children will start using a place.
If you’re already registered for tax-free childcare, then to get your code you’ll need to wait for your ‘reconfirmation window’ to open. Every three months, working parents are asked to reconfirm their details to ensure their circumstances are the same. When you’re next eligible to do this, you will then automatically be issued your code to pass on to your childcare provider.
‘Local authorities are continuing to work closely with providers to make sure there are enough places for those who need them. Parents can apply for codes for September until 31 August, and the government has urged providers to communicate available government-funded places as soon as possible.
