This move comes after discussions with Robby Starbuck , an anti-woke activist and filmmaker. Walmart plans to review its product marketing towards children, including removing inappropriate sexual and transgender products, and will reassess all grant funding, especially for community events.
Furthermore, the company will not continue its Racial Equity Center initiative beyond its initial five-year period and will abandon the terms 'LatinX' and 'DEI' in favor of 'belonging.' Despite these changes, Walmart will continue to support Pride celebrations
