Olivia Elliott has had quite the two-year career at Wallace Community College. She just topped off that career with the highest individual honor in the state in being named the ACCC Softball Player of the Year.
People are also reading… All of that was just as a sophomore. As a freshman she hit eight home runs and had 55 RBI, along with a batting average of .398. On the mound last year, she won 14 games and had 56 strikeouts. Now Elliott will have the opportunity to showcase her leadership skills and softball talent at a new place. She has already signed to play at Saginaw Valley State in her home state of Michigan. Which brings up another question. Just how did she find her way from Michigan to Dothan, Alabama, and Wallace College?
