However, the show has also managed to create some original characters for the series and among them is one of the show's most beloved characters, Daryl Dixon.

Multiple spin-off series have been confirmed for some of the main characters in the show's final season. A spin-off for Daryl and Carol is in the works and is set to continue their stories after the events of the show. While no details about the untitled show have been released yet, it is scheduled to premiere sometime in 2023.
