The Walking Dead fan art captures Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s smarmy anti-hero Negan. He arrived with huge fanfare back in Walking Dead season 6, and by the time season 7 had aired its shocking premiere episode, it was clear Morgan’s Negan was the biggest bad ever encountered in the TWD universe.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT As The Walking Dead: Dead City continues its limited run on AMC, presenting the further zombie-beset adventures of frenemies Maggie and Negan, fan artist wayward_girl222 has crafted an image of Negan that captures every ounce of the character’s signature smarm. The colorful art features two renderings of Negan clad in his iconic leather jacket, one where he’s flashing a grin, and the other where he’s giving a smoldering look.
Dead City Has Brought Back The Old Negan Set several years after The Walking Dead season 11, Dead City sees Negan and Maggie teaming up for a desperate rescue mission to New York City, where Hershel is being held captive by a mysterious bad guy named The Croat. While it’s true that Negan has made strides in redeeming himself and earning Maggie’s trust, it’s also true that a lot of the old, violent Negan still lurks beneath the surface.
Negan’s display of sadistic brutality, delivered with the same verbal flair he brought to The Walking Dead season 7’s infamous premiere, had the desired terrorizing effect on The Croat’s men. Unfortunately, Maggie also witnessed Negan’s shocking return to his old form, reminding her that though Negan may be her trusted ally for now, there’s still good reason to fear him.
