Rochelle Walensky, the outgoing director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention , advised her soon-to-be successor Mandy Cohen to “keep your head down” as she prepares to assume the new role next month.published on Monday.
“My advice to her would be to sort of keep your head down and recognize that the science has to be the foundation of what we deliver in health,” Walensky said. “Health does not happen in a vacuum.
