Elton John’s Farewell to the Yellow Brick Road Tour made its way to Jacksonville on Saturday night.
Wendy Caldwell bought her tickets two years ago and said she almost gave up them up for a refund, but she’s glad she’s still standing.Other fans were thankful they didn’t go for the refund and were are still standing to see the show, as thousands came to Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena to see the rocket man himself.“We knew this was his last tour, so we wanted to catch him before he stopped touring,” said Jeremy Bryant.“This was an outfit from his 1975 appearance on the Cher show,” he said.
“I’m a little sad he’s ending his career, but I’m so lucky to be able to see him before he ends,” said Blaise Ryndes. “It’s been a dream come true.”“You have to end sometime and its neat Jacksonville is one of the places he’s chosen to do that,” Crowley said.
