While the Capitals have won three of their first four games, the Flyers stumbled through a 1-2-1 road trip and then played a stinker and lost in their home opener to Vancouver on Saturday.

The Washington Capitals bring a three-game winning streak into the Wells Fargo Center on Thursday night against a Philadelphia Flyers team that has stumbled since capturing their season opener.
Washington received excellent play from its second line of Wilson, Pierre-Luc Dubois and McMichael, who combined for five points. The Flyers came home for their opener and looked lethargic and ineffective in a 3-0 loss to the Canucks that sent the fans out of the arena early and drew plenty of boos from those who remained.
