Wagner ’s Ke’Von Carter was apprehensively confident when he decided to hold off from signing with Texas State football two months ago. Carter, a 6-foot-3, 205-pound linebacker, took a calculated risk when he was the only player committed to the Bobcats who didn’t sign during the early signing period during the first week of December. “I thought I could get something bigger,” said Carter, a three-star recruit.

They have a sense of relief, so that’s the main thing I really was working for.” Carter was among six Thunderbirds who celebrated their signings on Thursday afternoon.
