Those who call the country of Hans Christian Andersen, Lego and Vikings home are being welcomed by their Western Australian counterpart — Denmark, in a new tourism campaign inviting Danes to the small coastal town. "Denmark, the community and the Shire, are inviting Danish people to come and visit us in Denmark down under," Shire President Ceiwen Gearon said.
The town has enlisted its own local soccer team to call on their FIFA idols for a training session or game with Denmark's national team.
