The U.S. is looking at the cease-fire proposal that was allegedly accepted by terrorist group, Hamas, to end war with Israel.by Alton Worley II, KOMO News StaffFILE - A look at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on Feb. 25, 2024. Results from the Washington State Hospital Association 2023 financial survey revealed that Washington hospitals lost $1.74 billion last year.

According to WSHA, Hospitals should experience some relief with the enactment of the Safety Net Assessment Program, but that money hasn’t come through for the facilities yet.has led to concerns from representatives at WSHA that loss numbers could rise in the future. While the change in charity law is a good thing for patients, the WSHA said that Washington hospitals disagree with the new interpretation and are concerned the new approach will make it harder and more expensive for Washingtonians to get timely access to the health care they need.
