Polling stations have opened to elect a new MP after the resignation of Nadine Dorries in the Mid Bedfordshire constituency.
A by-election is taking place after Ms Dorries, the serving Conservative MP, stood down in the summer. Polling stations are open between 07:00 and 22:00 BST, with the result expected in the early hours of Friday.
