While some people may balk at putting up holiday decor this early, others choose to put outdoor lights and other decorations up in early November while the weather is a little warmer and the threat for ice and snow on rooftops is lower. The weather will cooperate for early decorators this week. Temperatures will be mild with highs in the 50s and 60s through the weekend. Precipitation chances are low as well, especially through Saturday. On Sunday, a weak storm will produce a few showers, mainly north of Salt Lake City. But Saturday will be dry and temperatures will be above normal for early November.
So, the choice is up to you—put your Christmas lights and outdoor decor up now while the weather cooperates or wait until after Thanksgiving when you may have to deal with snow, ice and frigid temperatures.
