At the Midway Bar in Midvale, dozens of Thanksgiving Heroes are raising money for Thanksgiving meals.
The charity is the brainchild of founder Rob Adams. He started “Thanksgiving Heroes” seven years ago.
“This year we will feed 3,000 families, and that’s 15,000 people who will be fed on that day," he said. The 3,000 boxes of meals are filled assembly line style. The group uses donations to purchase $20,000 worth of food from their grocery partner, Macey’s.
