The premiere episodes of Criminal Minds: Evolution season 2 shows the team investigating Gold Star, a mysterious serial killer with a connection to Voit.
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Messer addressed what Voit whispered to Luke, saying that answers will be revealed in Criminal Minds: Evolution season 2, episode 3. The showrunner explained how what he says could pit Luke and Prentiss against one another, but also how information from such a character might not be so trustworthy. The good news is the audience will hear it at the top of episode 3, so you don't have to wait long. But basically this is in his whole social contagion idea that if somebody tells you something, you have to decide if it's true or not. He whispers something about how Prentiss knows something detrimental she's never told the team about.
