The Voice has crowned a winner for the show’s 12th season, taking home $100,000 and a recording contract with Universal Music Australia.Tarryn, 40, emerged victorious from a final four that also included Charlie Pittman, 28, from Team Guy; Ethan Beckton, 19, from Team Jason; and Ezra Williams, 28, from Team Jess.
The top four each performed twice during the grand finale: Once in a duet with their coach, and again solo. The Voice grand finalists, L-R: Winner Tarryn Stokes, Ethan Beckton, Ezra Williams and Charlie Pickton.. It was easily the night’s standout performance, making her a worthy winner., returning to the stage later on for her duet with coach Jess Mauboy.
Tarryn’s coach Rita Ora was full of praise for the mum-of-three, saying: “Tarryn’s sacrificed time with her kids to make her dream come true. She is undoubtably one of the best singers I’ve seen on a show like this.”Viewers applauded dancer Amy Dowden, who appeared on the TV show she was forced to drop out of after being diagnosed with cancer.Returning to Real Housewives after a six-year hiatus, Krissy Marsh and Nicole O’Neil found they had to battle stigma from their own castmates.
