Welcome to the evening shift on the Financial Review Voice to Parliament blog. In the Canberra bureau we have political editor Phillip Coorey, political correspondent Tom McIlroy and deputy editor, news Jessica Gardner. Thanks to economics correspondent Michael Read who has kept the blog running in the afternoon shift. At 6:20pm just 38 of 8253 polling places have been counted, so the numbers are really unreliable.
