Taylor Swift wins Video of the Year at VMAs
VMAs are underway tonight, with the latest edition of the pop music celebration set for the first time in New Jersey at the Prudential Center in Newark.
Some winners were unveiled during one-hour preshow, leading into the main event, which started at 8 PM ET across MTV’s sister Viacom networks including MTV2, VH1, BET, CMT, Comedy Central, Logo TV, Paramount Network and TV Land. It’s also on MTV.com and the MTV App. The show is tape-delayed to 8 PM on the West Coast.
Actor and comedian Sebastian Maniscalco hosted the awards show, which hands out Moon Persons in 20-plus competitive categories.just hit shelves. Meanwhile, Video Vanguard honoree, Missy Elliott, brought the house down with her futuristic performance. The show is set to close with an all-star performance by Queen Latifah, Naughty by Nature, Redman, Fetty Wap and Wyclef Jean — all Jersey natives.
