Visits to the San Antonio Missions National Historic Park fell in 2023 for a second consecutive year, a decline that came even as traffic across the National Parks System increased. An estimated 1.1 million people went to Mission Concepción, Mission San José, Mission San Juan and Mission Espada last year, a number that’s down 4.6% from 2022, according to preliminary figures from the government agency. The Alamo is not part of the historic park.
