Virus fight must take into account economy, says Perak ruler

EFFORTS to contain Covid-19 must remain a priority, but they need to be balanced so that the economy is not pushed to the point where recovery will be difficult, said Perak’s Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah. He said the pandemic has taken a heavy toll on the world with the implementation of restrictions to curb the disease’s spread, including Malaysia’s movement-control order, which came into force on March 18.
