Tensions rose Wednesday at the University of Southern California as Pro-Palestinian protesters clashed with police.
A video shared Wednesday afternoon by Los Angeles Times reporter Angie Orellana Hernandez showed police offers deploying batons amid a Pro-Palestinian protest at the University of Southern California .The video, which also showed a protestor being taken away from the scene by USC Department of Public Safety officers, had been viewed nearly 182,000 times via Hernandez' profile as of 4 p.m ET.Newsweek called the USC Department of Public Safety for comment.
In a statement, the group said their action is 'in solidarity with the people of Palestine as they resist genocide and continue in their struggle for liberation.
