South Korean Olympic silver medalist pistol shooter Kim Ye-ji has landed her first acting role as an assassin in the upcoming series 'Crush'. The 32-year-old became a viral sensation after a clip of her shooting skills at the ISSF World Cup in May, where she nonchalantly shoots and checks her score with a futuristic look. Now, she'll be joining Indian actress Anushka Sen in the series focusing on racial hatred and discrimination.

The series, a short-form spinoff of the film Asia, is directed by Lee Jung-sub and focuses on the raw stories of individuals facing racial hatred and discrimination. The sharp shooter will appear alongside Indian actress Anushka Sen. In the clip, Kim casually shoots at the target before flicking the cover up on her futuristic looking-shooting glasses to see her score. She barely reacts when she sets a new record with a score of 42 points in the 25m air pistol event.
