DiFilippo, who won his first term in 2015, said he has been open-minded and respectful during his tenure, traits he plans to carry over to a third term. DiFilippo previously served as a Silver Spring Township supervisor for nearly nine years and at the time said he was instrumental in re-establishing the township’s business advisory council. He also told PennLive that he revitalized the Agricultural Advisory Board and initiated a Land Preservation Board.
