Dominic Toretto actor Vin Diesel shares a new concept image from the upcoming sequel to 2023's Fast X, Fast X Part 2, which releases in 2026.
“Happy Father’s Day to you all… while location scouting in Europe for Riddick, the concept art from Fast X part 2 keeps pouring in… wait until you see the American road trip,” Diesel’s caption reads. “Haha.”was initially going to kick off a new trilogy of Fast and Furious films, Diesel confirmed in February 2024 that Fast X Part 2 will be a “grand finale.”
There have been reports that Fast X Part 2 may be a “throwback” to the original Fast and Furious movie and that it could feature a different villain rather than Jason Momoa’s Dante, though the exact nature of the plot remains unclear at this time. Fast X was released in United States theaters in May 2023. It made approximately $714 million at the global box office off an estimated $378.8 million budget.
Along with Diesel, Fast X stars Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz, Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce, Ludacris as Tej Parker, John Cena as Jakob Toretto, Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey, Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto, Sung Kang as Han Lue, Scott Eastwood as Little Nobody, Daniela Melchior as Isabel Neves, Alan Ritchson as Aimes, Helen Mirren as Magdalene Ellmanson-Shaw, Brie Larson as Tess, Rita Moreno as Abuelita Toretto, Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw, Charlize Theron as Cipher, and Momoa as Reyes.
