Chinese lens maker Viltrox is in negotiations with Leica to release L-Mount lenses, potentially joining the L-Mount Alliance. This move would allow Viltrox lenses to be compatible with full-frame Leica, Panasonic, and Sigma cameras. Viltrox is known for producing high-quality, affordable lenses, and their 135mm f/1.8 prime lens is already popular among Sony E-mount users. The addition of L-Mount lenses could further strengthen the appeal of the L-Mount system for photographers and videographers.

However, expecting the lens to venture to other mirrorless mounts at some point is reasonable.
Based on a Viltrox comment on one of its recent videos, the company is negotiating with Leica to release lenses for L-Mount. Given that the L-Mount is a proprietary lens standard, companies must be part of the L-Mount Alliance to release official L-Mount lenses.
