The Knicks now have four former Villanova players who all won NCAA championships in college.

When Jalen Brunson was playing at Villanova, he and some of his teammates would sometimes imagine what it would be like if they all ended up together on the same NBA team.

The Delaware native added that he’s also just two hours away “from my family and family’s everything to me. Adding on to that, ‘Nova guys are an extension of my family, Jalen especially.”“I facetimed Jalen and Josh, and Jalen was dancing, but that’s Jalen fashion,” he said. “Josh was making jokes, but it was good to see them kind of excited and relieved that I was joining them again.”

"I think the big thing for us is to not get carried away with the 'Nova stuff... we can rely on that, but at the same time how do we develop these relationships and how do we push together all as one?"DiVincenzo, the MOP of the 2018 Final Four when he scored 31 points off the bench against Michigan in the NCAA championship game, said he doesn’t mind if he comes off the bench or starts.

“He’s one of those guys that’s gonna do whatever the team needs him to do and he enjoys that. He did that for us and he’s done that at every NBA team he was on.”
