People in Richmound, Saskatchewan rallied against Romana Didulo Saturday, after the village mayor gave a news conference.
As Richmound wrestles with how to handle the presence of a group some have referred to as a cult, the mayor of the small southwest Saskatchewan village is calling for help.
On Oct. 11, 59-year-old Ricky Manz, previously identified by Miller as the owner of the former school, was arrested and charged with assault. Police were sparse with details regarding the alleged offence, noting only that Manz was involved in an altercation and assaulted another man, and that no injuries were reported.Thanks for signing up!The next issue of Afternoon Headlines will soon be in your inbox.However, he said the group has been filming local residents, including children.
“It’s terrible. It’s a new low for myself and the community and everybody else that’s in this area. It hits home,” Miller said.
