Philippe Coutinho reportedly closing in on a permanent transfer to Aston Villa AVFC
Coutinho could become a Villan permanentlyhas requested the permanent signing of the Brazilian despite a barren run of form where he has been unable to register any goals or assists.
Coutinho’s switch to the Nou Camp came in the aftermath of Neymar’s world-record £200m move to Paris Saint-Germain and despite hopes that he would fill the void left by his compatriot, Coutinho struggled to find his feet. Coutinho was granted a loan move and joined Bayern Munich in 2019 where he won the Champions League, Bundesliga title and German Cup treble before heading back to Barcelona the following season under the gaze of Ronald Koeman.
