The History Channel's hit series Vikings took the world on an epic adventure in the past, which continues with Netflix's follow-up series Vikings: Valhalla. With season 2 of Vikings: Valhalla now streaming on Netflix, the journeys of many characters see some major twists and turns unfold, most notably for Leif Erikson, Freydís Eiríksdóttir, and Harald Sigurdsson, respectively played by Sam Corlett, Frida Gustavsson, & Leo Suter.
Sam Corlett: Well, it started off with a lot of research about the historical period, and the mythology and culture. From our perspective, it's mythology, but for them, it was absolute belief. I think Leif's seen faith used in many different ways and for selfish gain, and he's seeking to find a new way to be outside the shadow of his father.
