Locals gathered in Dyce last night to pay their respects to Jill Barclay, 47, after she was allegedly murdered in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Hundreds of locals came together in Aberdeen last night to hold a candle-light vigil in memory of alleged murder victim Jill Barclay.
Police tape still cordoned off the area last night but candles, flowers and pictures were laid at the scene as locals turned out to pay their respects to the 'amazing' 47-year-old.One woman said: "What a fabulous turn out for such an amazing lady. Jill, you will forever be in the hearts of the Dyce and Stoneywood community."
And a woman added: "It is really fantastic to see the community come together for Jill and her lovely family." Two of her devastated pals have now set up a fundraising page to help cover the costs of her funeral. A statement on the GoFundMe page read: “Jill was a much loved partner, daughter, a parent of two, the best friend, a kickboxing ninja , a raver - a human with a heart of gold and true to the core.
