See the concept, which will later go on sale in Europe as VW's entry-level EV, from every angle and in detail.
Volkswagen ID.GTI concept's eight-spoked wheels are paired with matte black flared wheel-arch extensions. The bottoms of the side skirts are covered by matte black plastic, which VW says help to make the GTI "appear very low-slung on the road."The ID.GTI is smaller than the existing GTI, more the size of a Europe-market Polo than a Golf.We predict the production GTI EV will use the larger, 56.0-kWh battery pack from the ID.2, rather than the entry-level 38.0-kWh pack.
Volkswagen ID.GTI will be built in Spain, but on-sale dates and price estimates are not yet available.
