HANOI: Vietnam reported no new cases of Covid-19 infection on Sunday morning (April 26), with its total confirmed cases remaining at 270, according to its Ministry of Health. But the country on Saturday also recorded five discharged Covid-19 patients re-hospitalised after testing positive again during a quarantine period.

HANOI: Vietnam reported no new cases of Covid-19 infection on Sunday morning , with its total confirmed cases remaining at 270, according to its Ministry of Health. But the country on Saturday also recorded five discharged Covid-19 patients re-hospitalised after testing positive again during a quarantine period, Vietnam News Agency reported, adding that five more patients had recovered, with the total cured cases in the country to be 225 as of Saturday evening.

There are 419 suspected cases and nearly 55,000 being monitored and quarantined in the country, with no deaths from the disease reported so far, according to the health ministry. - Xinhua/Asian News Network
