Even more heartbreaking was that his father had passed away on the morning of Hari Raya Haji, and the man was apparently on his way to his hometown. In the video, the man was being comforted by the other passengers on the train, and through the video’s captions, the TikTok user also sent his condolences.
The video has since received over one million views and thousands of comments. Many netizens sent their condolences to the man and praised the other passengers for consoling the crying individual. Some also sympathised with him as they had a similar experience receiving devastating news while on public transportation.It must’ve been devastating for the man to hear about his father’s passing on the morning of a joyous occasion.
