Dessie Love-Blake will take the stage multiple times in Houston to perform as Swift.
Houston drag queen Dessie Love-Blake, who has won several local and statewide pageants, performs as Taylor Swift. She'll be onstage all weekend to welcome the Eras Tour to Houston.Love-Blake began impersonating Swift onstage several years ago during a celebrity illusion show hosted by Roxanne Collins, another Houston drag icon.
"I was a very new drag queen. She wanted me to be in the show and told me I looked like Taylor Swift," Love-Blake recalls."I was far from it then, but as I kept going and understood makeup better, I was able to be a little more accurate.", she enjoys the music and admires Swift's business sense. And Love-Blake is a star in her own right.
