Warga emas, N Muniammah, 62, mendakwa sudah hampir setahun berdepan dengan ancaman gajah liar yang kerap menceroboh masuk ke laman rumahnya hingga merosakkan pintu pagar.
“Paling terkini adalah pada Khamis dan Jumaat lepas, dua ekor gajah masuk ke kawasan parkir kira-kira 5 pagi, habis rosak pintu pagar dan cermin tingkap yang sudah banyak kali dibaiki. Seorang lagi penduduk, Saedin Sadoon, 49, mendakwa anak lelakinya turut cedera akibat terlanggar haiwan liar itu di jalan gelap ketika menunggang motosikal.
