The unidentified 78-year-old man was trying to park for an appointment at Babin Physical Therapy in Kenner Tuesday when he suddenly sped forward and damaged a column,A bystander then filmed as he jumped a curb and turned around — speeding backward straight into the adjoining Optical shop. “Obviously he panicked, so it would’ve been nice if he would’ve stayed but Kenner police caught him,” Boover said. “I think he just panicked.”WDSUMiraculously, no one was injured in the incident. Police said the driver may have suffered from a medical episode because he was disoriented and unable to answer their questions.
