The video, uploaded by TikTok user @aimandope, shows a runner stopping in his tracks to check on a limping participant — clearly in pain as he tightly holds another man's hand for support — as others continue making their way on the 42km route around Kuala Lumpur. "Look at the way they're holding hands, that's truly a friend through thick and thin. He was willing to wait despite the cut-off time . I would love to have a friend like this," said the netizen.According to the official KLSCM website, over 40,000 runners gathered at Dataran Merdeka over the weekend to participate in the event after a pandemic-imposed hiatus of three years.
