The federal law enforcement agents have received feedback from the public about their immigration enforcement tactics and practices. On Tuesday, in Encinitas a local resident went viral after posting a video of her questioning what appears to be federal law enforcement agents detaining people near the Home Depot in Encinitas .
“I was driving home from Trader Joe’s in Encinitas. I was talking on the phone with my husband on the drive and as I was passing Home Depot, I saw what appeared to be two men tied up with ICE agents,” Dani said.“I walked up to agents and asked what they’re doing if they were arresting workers and I was told that the criminal history is not my business,” Dani said.San Diego LGBTQ+ warns employees of possible layoffs “We have laws in our country, immigration laws included that need to be complied with and lawfully and ethically enforced but when masked, armed, unidentified gunmen are standing in the parking lot of our local shopping centers this is not how we lawfully and ethically enforce our laws,” Dani said. Dani stressed she will continue speaking out about immigration enforcement tactics used by law enforcement officers.
