One of the best things about tuning in to your favourite radio station is listening to interesting stories submitted by fans. Celebrity host and actor Aznil Nawawi has been an announcer for Kool 101 for quite a while now and very recently gave a chance to the station's listener to share his emotional story.
In a TikTok video posted by Kool 101, a man known as Azaly, shared the story of how he took care of his ailing mother after the death of his father back in 2018. The man shared that due to not being able to balance his work and caring for his mother, he decided to resign from his job but the process wasn't so easy.
Just like the previous attempt, his employer rejected his resignation and instead gave him 3 more months of leave to take care of his mother. 'I worked there for 14 years. After learning that my mother could no longer walk on her own, I updated my boss about her condition. He came to visit with his assistant and gave us compensation,' he added.
The 61-year-old was brought to tears after concluding that Azaly did the noblest thing a child can do for their parents. 'This is why God has not blessed you with marriage. He wanted to bless you with heaven instead because you took the responsibility to care for your mother,' said the emotional celebrity announcer who was choking on his words. The story was indeed a tear-jerker as netizens began sharing similar experiences in the comments section of the viral TikTok video.
