The month of June is also known as Pride Month. It's the time of the year dedicated to the celebration and commemoration of the LGBTQ+ community and even allies are welcome to join in on the celebration. Speaking of allies, UK singer Adele has always been a strong supporter of the community and she has even helped a man propose to his boyfriend at her concert back in 2017.
With this in mind, it's not so surprising that she defended her queer fans when she heard someone in the audience say something about Pride Month at one of her recent shows. Here's how she reprimanded him:Adele is currently doing her Las Vegas residency and at one point during her show over the weekend, the singer was interacting with the audience when someone shouted, 'PRIDE SUCKS!'.
Everyone in the audience applauded the 'Easy On Me' hitmaker for her stance and allyship for the queer community. Videos of the incident that night quickly went viral on social media with fans praising Adele for reprimanding the man for the remark but many have also argued that she might have actually misheard him.
