When you date a Beckham, the rest of the family comes as a package deal. And no one feels more invested than matriarch, also 21, had sadly parted ways. But while Romeo and model Mia seemed to be taking the break-up extremely well, both posting loving tributes to each other and simply saying that, after five years together, they’d “friendzoned” each other, we’re told Victoria hasn’t taken the news quite so positively.
“As well as being upset for them, she worries what Romeo will do without having the stability of Mia in his life. She felt she could really trust Mia and welcome her into the family. It’s hard for them to let people into their inner circle, and now she’s concerned that Romeo may get his head turned and go a bit wild.”
We’re told she is also sad to lose Mia from her own life, especially since Mia has always seemed happy to follow her lead, unlike daughter-in-law Nicola. In 2022, the pair were hit with rumours that they’d fallen out after Nicola chose to wear a wedding dress by Valentino, instead of one designed by Victoria.
